DC-3 Airways is a very unique virtual airline; we’re a meeting place online for flight simulation enthusiasts around the world who share a common love of the Douglas DC-3 and DC-4 aircraft. Members fly the DC-3 and the DC-4, along with their derivatives in various simulators such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, Lockheed Prepar3d, and X-Plane. No matter what your taste of flying or your skill level, there’s a place for you here!
Our VA presently has over 3000 flights in the United States and throughout the world, including a very extensive Charter Division. Many more routes are in the works right now, and we also feature a recent change in our operations to allow pilots to create and fly their own routes.

Multiplayer
Join us flying online on our own private flight server, fellow members exploring the same real-world conditions restricting your flight to the privacy of you and your friends. We do four flights per week.
VATSIM On-Line Flying
VATSIM is the Virtual Air Traffic Simulation network, connecting people from around the world flying online. Strictly real world procedures and air traffic control (ATC). We do one flight per week, normally on a Friday.

Re-enacting of three major airborne operations during World War 2
1. Operation Varsity
Re-enacting of the airborne component of the Rhine River assault of March 1945, the last natural barrier between the western allies and Germany.
2. Berlin Airlift
In response to the blockade of land routes into West Berlin, the United States began a massive airlift of food, water, and medicine to the citizens of the besieged city. For nearly a year, supplies from planes sustained the over 2 million people in West Berlin.
3. Operation Market Garden
Operation Market Garden was an Allied military operation during the Second World War fought in the Netherlands from 17 to 25 September 1944. It was the largest airborne operation of the war up to that point.
